The Challenge
- Senegal: 38.5% of the population lives below the poverty line
- 33% of youth aged 15-25 are currently not in employment, education or training
- Quality skills training and entrepreneurship remain accessible mainly to the well-educated
- In 2020 at least 140 migrants drowned in a single shipwreck just off the coast of Senegal
Our Work
- Ensure access to inclusive and equitable quality vocational training for young people in vulnerable situations
- Provide them with relevant skills, including technical and vocational skills, for employment, decent jobs and entrepreneurship
- Provide them with access to full and productive employment and decent work
